Iam a beginner in codec domain.Now I have to finish an assignment as
follows.
1.I have to create a new file format like *.yyy
structure for format is like

Filter for a Transcoder

Hi,
I am developing a directshow filter for a transcoder, which converts
MPEG2 to H.264 (AVC)standard.
I started the project modifying the infTee sample with directx SDK. My
problem is whatever I do, I am not able to connect its aoutput pin to
the H.264 decoder.

Detecting Microphone input on HD Audio system

Is there a way to reliably detect the presence of a Microphone input on
an HD Audio supported system?? What I am seeing when a poll mixer
connections is Blue-In, Red-In, etc. but no reference to Microphone of
any sort. Am I to assume "Red-In" is the microphone channel?? Thanks

Problems compiling apps with Directshow
