choppy video

I have some mpeg2 DVD quality videos that when wmp10 transcodes them to sync
with my creative zen pmc, they come out very choppy. I believe they got
transcoded down to 688Kbps files. When played on my PC, they are choppy as
well. So, the transcoding in WMP10 appears to be causing this. I can

I love my yh-999 but I would really like to get a few accessories for it (at
the very least another power supply!) but a wireless remote control would be
nice (though I know this doesn't exist as of yet.)

Archos AV700 as PMC Alternative

I bought one of these beasts with its 100Gb hard disk and 7" 16:9
screen looking like a far better alternative to my Zen PMC with tiny
hard disk and small 4:3 screen.

Upnp Content Directory and Browse command

Using upnp Browse action on Windows Media Center, the responded xml does not
consist of the "res" element which suppose to inform on the protocolInfo and
the URL.
We use the Browse action as it says in the contentDirectory1.0 pdf file.

Creative PMC Massive Price Cut Imminent In UK

their website. This is great news for UK consumers, even adding VAT the
UK equivalent price would be GBP 260! With the Zen PMC currently

I have a Creative Zen PMC but am getting a bit fed up of the small hard
disk and 4:3 screen. The Archos AV700 100Gb looks rather nifty. Does
anybody have experience of synchronising DVR-MS and lossless WMA files
with this or any other Archos device? I'm keen to get it right this
time.
