Hi,
Trying to remove some strips and some tiles from the Vista Media Center
menu. I have edited the Registry as follows but with no sucess:

Media Center Live TV problems

I am currently running Vista MCE from a new Velocity Micro computer with
Cable Card. While in Live TV intermittently my channel changes on it's own
and gets stuck there. There is a long horizontal blue bar at the top of the
screen that does not go away. Eventually the problem disappears but it takes
hours ...

I am trying to install Windows Update KB938126 which is required to run
my Linksys DMA2100 Media Center Extender, however when I try and run it
it says "This update does not apply to your system". The update has not
been previously installed, it is not listed in the list of installed

Problems with scheduled recordings

So... I recently upgraded my PC to a Phenom 4x 9850 (one heck of a platform
upgrade from my Athlon x2 3800+), this upgrade included a motherboard
upgrade as I was going from S939 to AM2+, as one might expect this
completely threw off my Vista installs DRM, for a while there I couldn't

[Vista] Scheduled tv recording stops after few minutes

Since I installed Vista 64 SP1 I have a problem that my scheduled recordings
stop after a few minutes and the pc goes back to sleep (S3).
In the event log I see a browser warning showing up at the same time:

S-Video inputs XP MCE

I have tried several times unsucessfully to connect my satellite system to my
media center pc via the s-video input. The problem is that even after finding
the input (displaying correctly in the preview window) once I switch to MyTV
I am stuck with analog channel selection and cannot choose the s-video input

Recording icon in System Tray

On my Vista Ultimate MCE machine when a show is recording I do not get the
red icon in the system tray that indicates a show is recording. If I remove
the regkey "iconstream" and restart the machine it comes back, but after a
while it will disappear again. Any ideas for a permanent fix?

Drivers for eHome Remote Control and IR Receiver

The Microsoft eHome Remote Control and IR Receiver show up as devices with
drivers in Device Manager. I would like to try updating these drivers due to
a problem waking the computer from sleep to see if that helps. However, I've
been unable to locate a download site for them. Does anyone have this link? ...

Guide Download Error

After re-installing my OS after a serious HDD problem, I no longer can
download the guide info in MCE. Each time I go through the process to "Reset
Guide lineup", I get to where I input my zip code. After a few seconds of
trying to connect to the Internet, I then receive "Download Download
Incomplete We wer ...
