I simply need to know the physical address of the video files for XP MCE
2005. When recording video from television, Media Center places these files
in some default folder on the C;\ drive, I know not where. Could someone
direct me to this (probably obvious) location?

I am operating a 2005 XP MCE from HP. I just did a complete System Recovery
because of OE6 and other functional problems. I'm trying to add back some of
the folders and files that were backed-up. I can't do many of these because

It seems that this may be a problem related to the ident set of your
windows edition. I had problems with Microsoft Zune software on MCE and
found this solution to my problem. It seems this may help here also.

If MCE includes the TV Pack, then it does see/tune unencrypted QAM channels. I have a cable running straight into my tuner card from the wall (no box) and it tunes the unencrypted HD digital channels (up to 100) with no problem.
