There is no longer a RIP tab as was on MC 11, and the Auto Play menu does

Extender Account is a local account

The problem probably is that the account the mediacenter extender creates and uses is a local machine account for your mediacenter PC. you cannot assign rights on a network share to a local account (the domain doesn't know about individual machine accounts, so you cannot assign those rights.
