We stream video from an external camera that some times losses power. When
the camera power is restored how can I get the Media Server to start
streaming the video automatically? ...

WMS Does not add the user the AD but should create a local user account
called WMUS_<Machine Name>. Not sure why an account exisits on AD. Can
you check the server and see if there is a local account? If so you need
to update the password of that account and then use the same password in
the properties page of WM ...

I am just a newbie here, so please excuse me if my question seems to
be ridiculous ;o)
A client of mine would like to set a video streaming server to
"broadcast" his wmv videos.
The only problem is that he wants to put it on a linux server...
Is there a way to do this ?

I have Enterprise server running Windows Media server successfully for many
months. I simply type www.mydomain.com/mypublishingpoint.wsx
It has worked fine. I went on a trip recently and suddenly I receive "The
page cannot be found" error. No noted problems within media services and I
have other web presence ...

the protocols aren't supported on the internet. Multicast effectively
requires intranet distribution.
