Media Player 10 Hanging Internet Connection (revisited)

I saw a message from 4/5/06 which went over this problem that was answered by
zachd from Microsoft. I'm having a similar problem only I am able to kill
the wmplayer.exe process from Windows Task Manager. But why is this
happening and how do I fix it? I keep my machine up to date -- MP10 vers:

How can I download a video that plays in an embedded player?

When I go to www.univision.com, and select a video to watch, it opens
in a separate window with an embedded Windows Media Player. I can
watch the video, but I cannot download or save it. Does anyone know
how to do that?

Hello. I have a WMP 6.4 in my HTML page. I need to know when markers are
aivailable in order to move to them...so I think I need to know when download
( not buffer ) is terminated, but it seems that WMP 6.4 does't have an event
for that.
Please help me.

I have W XP
When i got this pc it had mediaplayer 9 & i didn't like it because i
couldn't see the left to right green progress line as you can on my old 6.4!
So i clicked start & run & added MPLAYER2.EXE & now have 6.4 which
apparently don't run on XP.
When i'm online & click on an mpeg to download so ...
