Play media file only embeded

Hi:
Somebody knows how to play a media file only embedded in a webpage
locking the file to play on Windows Media Player directly.
I using Windows Media Encoder to generate the media file and Windows
Media Services to stream it on the web.

I guess I need to add that I had no problem playing them (instead of
saving them) before I did a reformat to hd. Others who visit the site
can play them fine. So I am guessing it is something with my pc.

Thanks for the help I am printing out the info you pointed to now. First it
is a web server, It has the new apple quicktime streaming available I am
kinda of loyal to Microsoft. Hosting is so expensive for just developing this
sites with 2003 server with media server on them. I will have to find outside
help ...

.AVI files play locally, but not streaming (VISTA)

My new Vista PC with WMP11 will play my .avi files (compressed with Xvid)
locally off my PC HD, but when I copy that file (unchanged) to my Comcast
personal file storage area on their web server and try to stream play the
same file from there, I get this error message:

About a month or two ago I stopped being able to play Windows Media Player
embedded in Web pages here is a bit of my ecology and modality to date.

Greetings,
Most of my downloaded music(and also the "sample" music that came with XP) I
play with Windows Media Player are skipping now. I dont remember this
happening when they were first downloaded. It sounds almost exactly like an
old record player when the record got worn. Any suggestions.

Volume control in WMP 11?

but now find that the individual songs play back at greatly different
volumes.
Is there a way to "standardize" the playback volume?
