Process 5.1 audio in DSP plugin in Win7

Hi,
I have a WMP audio DSP plugin which does binaural downmixing from 5.1/7.1 to
2.0. In the plugin I use "SetSpeakerConfig" from dsound SDK to set the active
speaker configuration in Xindows XP to 7.1. The reason I have to do this is
that Windows XP/Vista/7 automatically downmixes the audio data BEFORE it

I have proprietary plugin for Windows Media Player. It takes specially
incorporated binary stream in ASF file, decodes it and draw image in
window.
Can I use this proprietary plugin in my own media player?
How can I load this plugin?
How should I feed it? Pass handle window to it, etc?

Plugins Windows Mediaplayer

I am running Windows Mediaplayer 11 in XP and I am unsuccesfully trying to
install the lyrics plug-in. Plug-ings (both Microsoft and 3rd party) are not
working & are even not displayed in the plugin list.
I have tried: reinstalling the plugin, testing different plugins, de- and
reinstalling WMP,... nothing ...
