order of my music when burning. There is a sort option but it's limited to
alpha or release dates. I want to control my own order. Help! ...

downloaded a file from pirate bay it was an audio file and it is listed on my
screen as an mp3. but windows media player wont play it. I am a bit thick

CD-Rom player

I'm trying to get a cd to play and nothing is happening but the buzzing sound
in the cpu. The Windows Media Player is Version 11.0.5721. I just installed
McAfee Antivirus Protection (an updated version; there was already an expired
one on the computer). Could this be the problem? Please help ...

- the track name,
- the contributing artist (not the album artist, particularly for

with compilations - I am not sure of the algorithm, but it is poor), there is

Movie info in WMP

I use WMP 11 to stream movies from my PC to the XBox 360 on my TV.
Movies that stream from Netflix, Zune, etc. have an area that provides a
description of the movie, actors, etc.
I also rip DVD's from my home collection to a media library on my PC and

Media player keeps exiting out

Everytime i try to play a video, a message comes up saying that "Windows
media player has stopped working" and it exits. ive done a virus scan on
everything and nothing popped up so i know its not the files. But what's

Playing songs in center pane w/o it moving to right pane?

For example, if I click on a playlist, the songs show up listed in the center
(library) pane in WMP12. If I double click to play any of those songs, it
automatically moves the entire playlist (or album or artist) to the right
pane and leaves the center one empty.
