WMP 11 repeats start of song

When I play a ripped CD on my Vista Ultimate notebook, but the files are
physically located on my kids PC, after each song ends, WMP replays the
first 5 - 7 seconds of the last song before playing the next song. I have no
idea why this is happening, but it's kinda of annoying. Thoughts?

WMP 11 Changing info

I Have installed WMP11 and no matter what i do it automatically changes the
Genre on over have of my media and its really frustrating because no one
seems to know why and or willing to help ...

Find Album Info

it takes songs from The Fallout Boy's album i already have in my library and
and puts them in the Missy Elliot Album. Why? ...

WMP sucking up CPU cycles.

Right now it is the DLLHOST I keep killing it and it comes back I close WMP
and it stops. Usually it is the wmpencod (sp) that does it. Any ideas why or
how to fix it? I am just listening to WMA's or MP3's
Vista 32bit SP1 Ultamite.

WMP 11 Stopped Reading CD's

Hi,
I use WMP 11 with the operating system of Vista.
I was burning a CD when I got a message saying Windows Media has stopped
working. I restarted my system and tried to burn a CD but it kept asking me
to insert a blank CD (I tried 2 different brands of CD). I then put a CD in
with music on it and it wouldn' ...

Okay I download from Limewire...usually after I download a song I can hit the
explore button and a folder titled shared comes up. I then highlight the ones
I want to copy and past to media player...and then save it in a playlist

Windows Media Player 11 does not work right - help

I upgraded to windows Vista on my home PC, and since then WMP11 is not working!
I press play, and it loads the song, but nothing happens. It does not play,
and number time counter remains at 0.
I have:
- Vista Business, service pack 1
- Windows Media player version is 11.0.6001.7000
There are no error code ...

Using Vista
can't play. wmv files, get:
"Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you
might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy
settings might not be correct."
can play avi files. Any clue how to resolve? What are proxy settings?
