Freezing + black & white playback

When I playback some avi files they will playback in B&W. I have gone to
Tools, Options, Perfermance, Advanced and unchecked the box Turn on high
quality mode. This gives me colour but the picture is frozen with sound

It would be great to have an icon/album art/thumbnail view available for any
sorting of WMP. In other words, instead of always having a view showing

Most of the files that I have downloaded from Napster are now saying that I
don't have rights to sync and rip those files on my device (Sansa e260 -
which is compatible). How do I get Windows to "unprotect" those files for

only supports wma 9.
