Error when i start WMP for Vista

For some reason when i got this computer, it had two partitions.
The only reason i mention this is because after my brother [who has some
kind of important computer job] changed that, i cant start my Windows Media
Player. the message reads:

Can I back up Media Player Library

I will shortly have to re install Windows Vista on my C drive. All my music
is on a separate partition G drive. I've spend ages getting media player
library sorted. Is it possible to back up the library to save a lot of time
and where are the library files normally stored? ...

Incorrect track listings

I am in a band with a released (independently) CD. I get emails almost every
day from people who are ripping our CD to WMP and it comes up with the
incorrect track listing - it gives the information of another CD (the same CD
every time!) This doesn't ahppen on itunes though.
Does anyone know who I speak to ...

Unknown Issue with Media Player *Ripping Issues*

Well, Afternoon everyone, I'm basically posting this, to find a solution to
fix my issue concerning my Media Player...
When I insert a music disc, and it starts copying the first track into my
Libary, and then finishes that track, when the ripping process carries onto
the next track, it comes up with "Error ...

Black and white picture

I seem to be getting a black and white picture whenever subtitles are
displayed and it goes back to color ones the subtitles are gone? Anyone out

DVD's no longer play

I've had my Dell Laptop for almost a year and have watched many DVDs with
WMP. I think it's been v.11 all along but I am now getting a new message that
I don't have a decoder. This is new within the last few weeks. It won't even
play movies I've already watched. The only change has been adding some music

DVD's won't play

I recently bought a new computer with WMP11. It's a Vista 64 bit OS.
Everytime I try to play a DVD all I get is a scramble of colors. I have the
proper DVD decoder and I can't find any conflicting software on the system.
They don't work in media center either. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
