WMP Suddenly Won't Recognize Many Files in Rip Folder

Running WMP 11.0.5721.5268 within WindowsXP, Home Ed., V.2002, SP3.
By last night, I had successfully ripped many CDs in albums (and genres)
beginning A through M. This morning, WMP recognizes and will play only those
CDs in A thru D. WindowsExplorer indicates that all folders, A thru M, are
still in the ...

I'd like to know which codecs are in use when something is playing (mp3,
video, streaming media). The reason is that I have my very good equalizer
settings but when playing streamed media the bass is way too much (over the
scale as it turned out). I want to see if codec settings aren't bogus but I
don't know ...

Tryed to open e mail attached file wmv. error code c00d1197 windows media
player cannot find files. Never had this problem before just happen. Can
someone help me correct this problem.

I have Windows xp, Windows Media PLayer 11.
I have recorded songs and they are in the C:\Program Files\Windows Media
Player file ....but they do not show in Windows Media Player.
Anyone know why and how I get them copied over ??

Picture tags in WMP11

Hi there,I've added my pictures collection in WMP11 (11.0.5721.5268) and can
see them in the all picture tree, but I cannot edit the tags like "keywords"
(as I can for music). Any reason for this? I need that for chosing pictures
to be displayed on my "Kodak EasyShare" digital picture frame.Thanks for

I just did a fresh install of WindowsXP Media Center 2005 SP2 and updated WMP
to version 11. Since I was doing all this work I cleaned up my WMA and MP3

MOV files - use ffdshow audio in MP11

I have ffdshow installed on several computers successfully but I have
a problem with one machine that refuses to use ffdshow audio codecs
when it opens video-camera Quicktime MOV files. The result, of
course, is a silent movie as MP11 can't figure out the audio track
(which I believe is just PCM).

Hello;Media Player 11 always opens or starts Maximized? I tried
everything,cannot get it to open in a movable window,when it opens
maximized,I try to restore it down to the size I want it,in a movable
window.Then I close it,and restart the media player,and it's maximized again?
