Neil,
I am getting the same error when i try to convert a MPG file to WMV. I had Vegas movie Pro which i uninstalled. Still it does not help. What else can be tried?

USB Capture not working

encoder version - 9 series
capture - eternal usb umax 330 , gadmei usb driver 2681 (video / audio)
Capture works with vls but not with media encoder says invalid stream.
I have attached this to STB that works in composite mode with my software
provided by umax ...

Has anybody encoded with WME and put graphics/text overlays in their output?
I have tried to add the FFdshow as an addin and get a message that "there is
no common media between the pins" and for some reason the FFdshow filter is
not invoked on a WME9 encoder run.

Encoder does not find dv audio - only dv video

Aloha
I am using a Canon VIXIA HV40 Camcorder with windows media encoder. The
encoder see's the video camera show up under the video input in the device
options window. But it does not show up for the audio input?. When i use
the default audio device i get an error.

I have been trying to find a program or small application which allows me to put some text scrolling on wme9 while pushing to a server ! Anyone has any good advice and help in achieving this ?

how can I convert my uncompressed 1080p (full hd) input avi file to a 1080p

There is only a preset for 720p in the wizard.
