Can't double-click when capturing screen

When I use Windows Media Encoder to capture a screen, double-clicking
doesn't work on the screen. Any idea how to remedy?

I've got a Hauppauge WinTV card and want to use WME to encode from it.
Unfortunately it does not show up as an audio device so I have to use an
audio cable to connect between the mic and headphone out. This works for
recording with other programs but since WME mutes the audio during
encoding it does not capt ...

Hi.. so we use the osprey 230 capture card in our encoder running WME, and
there's about a 1/4 of a second delay between the sound and the video (sound
happens first and a split moment later, the video catches up). Anyone have
