Drive Letter with Red question mark

Hi,
If I unplug MSC (Mass Storage Device) device without doing device ejection,
the corresponding drive letter is not disappearing and red question mark is
appearing over the drive letter. How to handle such scenarios and how to
remove those red question mark OR those drive letters?

I had the camera installed as was able to download video. Now when I plug in
the camer I get nothing. How can I uninstall a device that does not show up
in device manager?
