I installed WMP11, and was initially excited at the prospects of using it as
my main player.
Good things:
- Nice load time. Fast. Efficient.
- Playback controls and overall layout is great.
- Library manager. Some nice things with the manager in terms of
enhancements.

Sony Vegas and WMP11

I recently installed WMP11. I also use Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum
edition for video editing.
When I render to WMV, Vegas crashes about 1/3 through a render. It
unusually occurs when I render to DVD Quality size, or "keep custom size"

When you interrupt an active playlist by playing a single item from the
shell (via double-clicking a file in Explorer to open it in WMP) and you
get the "Click here to resume playing <the previous playlist>" option in
the Now Playing list, if <the previous playlist> was an auto playlist

WMP11: inclusion of "Jump to Artist" / "Jump to Album" in playlist context menu

The inclusion of a "Jump to Artist" and "Jump to Album" option in the
playlist item right-click context menu would be an excellent feature.
This was implemented in some places in WMP10, but it was implemented so
inconsistently that I never knew when I would and wouldn't find it when
I right-clicked.

Album art

How come when ripping a CD it will show the album art, but then when its
added to the library the album art is non-existent?
Perhaps this is a bug.
As sometimes the album art doesn't seem to show in some views. Like
I'll see it in Song view, but not in Album view.
I also wonder why when you do a search for ...

My Review WMP11B for what its' worth.
Initialization.
Having “saved” and then installed, I can not imagine what someone on Dial-Up
would have to go thru if they were to “run” from the net. There should be a
“Zip” alternative. Everyone does not have access or can afford DSL!

I think I found a bug w/ medias media plyr 11 & streaming server (win2003)
I config my stream srv to allow you to skip & pause tracks...
I know it works for player 10 but
the 2 workstations that have v11 cant pause n skip anymore....

Auto resizing of cover art

More of a feature request this, but I would like to be able to have cover
art (folder.jpg) files that are too big to show in the wmp11 screen
automatically shrink to fit. Can this already be done?

I am currently using WLOC, Defender & IE7B2. Each has their own issues but
particularly WLOC. It does not play well with "Restore". Considering the
steps with Un-install WMP11, "Restore" might at first glance seem to be the
