WM 5/ActiveSync 4.1/WMP 11 error

Each time I connect a WM 5 handheld to the computer (using USB) while WMP 11 is up
and running, WMP crashes (closes.) Obviously, sync with the mobile device is
impossible. It worked fine with WPM 10 on the same machine.

Hi,
I'm getting an error when I try to play some WMA files in WMP11. Is there a
way to reinstall the WMA9 codecs or WMP11? (I am running Vista Beta 2)

As I tend to do, I jump from screen to screen, option to option while I am
using WMP. I have found that after several "jumps", Now Playing and List Pane
start getting out of sync. I use shuffle. What happens is that the

User Defined Genre

I use the advanced tag editor along with the genre feature to identify three
stages for tracks in my library.
Tracks "tagged" for Play List creation : TRANCE
Tracks "tagged" for Play List sampleing : SPACE
Tracks "tagged" as Tracks burnt to CD: TRAILER

VOB playback

Can MS fix VOB playback? When you try to open one it opens it as a URL and
fails. ie wmpdvd://Z?contentdir=Z:\movies\...
It's obviously expecting a full DVD.
If you rename any VOB to MPG and it plays fine, so why can't VOB's be treated
the same way as MPG?

Will WMP ever support playback of TV/Radio from TV/Radio cards? It seems to
support just about everything except this feature.
I would have though, with BDA, that this would be easily implemented.
