I have no idea why I cannot log on to internet explorer. I get a message that states " windows cannot find http://us.lrd.yahoo.com. I'm just trying to get to yahoo mail any help???

OE disappears after sp3 upgrade

My icon disappeared both off the start page as well as my taskbar and I can't
find an executable file to reinstall a shortcut. Ironically, I can still

Password problem after restore

Hi All,
I had to do a complete restore on my laptop.
I set up my outlook express, (pop3, smtp, etc.) Now when I try to
use it I get a window asking for my password.
I never told it to use a password, so I can't get around this window.
Any thoughts or tips?

When I start Outlook Express I often get a "non-responding" error message,
than it starts Ok. I did all of the recommendations , such as compacting

from folders that I created, but not from the Inbox. Today I did a search,
knowing that some emails from the inbox should have been picked up, but they
