Need upgrade to IE 5.5 in Greek Lanuage

Due to viruses, backdoors, ... the school lab I am working in can not connect
to the internet (router is blocked) and needs Symantec AV Corporate Edition
Software to be upgraded. But v10 of this software requires IE 5.5 or later. I
need to download IE 5.5 or later, but not just a file like ie6setup.exe that ...

We have a problem in encoding the text to German language and we are
puling all the text from Resource files here while using Special characters
like é, à, Â, ü, ä, etc it is giving and error in the text format like we

Address line deletes

When I typing a web address on the URL line it deletes before I can type it
in. For instance, if I were typing in www.microsoft.com, after I type "www.",
it becomes highlighted, so when I type in the "m", it deletes. Is this a
problem with the operating system, modem, or processor? Any suggestions? ...

Table Column Width Not Binding?

Hi,
when I create a TABLE and add a width to one of the columns, IE6 doesn't
adhere to my width attribute (neither HTML nor CSS). How can I force IE6 to
have that column as wide as I constrain it to?

I have recently reset web settings in internet options and it has changed my
homepage from google to MSN. I cannot change it back as all the buttons, "use
current" "use default" "use blank" are greyed out. How do I activate them

My PC has two user accounts. On one of them, my Explorer (6.0.x) works just

Want to "open" not "search" on clicking

When clicking on a sub-folder Windows executes a "search" not an "open".
I can't remember where to navigate to in order to set this preference back
to its default "open on click".
