Disable/Turn-off Automatic Windows Updates

I am running Windows 2000 SP4 server with Citrix MetaFrame XPe FR3. I found
that published apps of IE6 SP1 as well as MS Outlook 2003 will not function
(won't open) after several 91xxx (sorry don't know which one is at fault)
updates are applied. I uninstalled them and now the Published Apps of IE6

Nevte jak zakazat konkretn KB zplatu na WSUS update serveru porad se mi
vnucuje k instalacm i kdy je ve stavu odmtnutu. Nejprve jsem ji schvlil
k instalaci ale pot jsem zjistil ze Microsoft tuto aktualizaci dostatecne
neodladil a z toho duvodu jsem ji zakzal. Neeili jste nekdo podobn
problm?

Limited update support

Dear Windowers,
I have heared that MS gives for a limited time updates on it's products. If
I am correct, there is only 5 years general support for the non-business
user, calculated from the release date.
Does this means that for win2000 they do not give out security updates
anymore? Or does this continu ...

Hello All,
Anyone know why a Win 2K pro pc all updates , keeps wanting to install
832483 MDAC update?
It installs, the update say it installed succesfully, but if auto update is
on it will reinstall again a few mins. later. If you go to the MS update
site & scann for updates it wants to install this one.

I have a problem that is described in the KB840890. I never tried to request
a hotfix from the Microsoft support, but, according to the intimidting fees
for the support communication, I assume that this not free anymore.
