Strange shell folders behaviour after Win 2000 Server Sp4 update

Today, after successful update of our customer's Windows 2000 Server
Standard edition with SP4 already applied, i've encountered an strange
server's behaviour, i'm going to describe. After post-update reboot, i can't

KB912919 and Explorer CPU Useage

Hi,
After installing update KB912919 on 2003 explorer started using 100% CPU,
approximatly 10 secs on 10 secs off. I uninstalled KB912919 and the issue has
disappeared. Is this a known issue?

W2003 & SNA Server 4.0 Client

I just ran WINNT32.EXE /UPGRADECHECK on one of my Windows 2000 servers.
It indicated that SNA Server 4.0 is not compatable with W2003. Since
I only have the Client piece of SNA Server installed on this server,
will this really be a problem? I do need for the client function after
the upgrade to W2003 howeve ...

sp4 hangs

I am running win 2k server sp4. When I try to stop..start..do anything in
services plug-in the mmc hangs.. I have tried to run sp4 again but it also
hangs when it gets to the point of checking existing configuration.. I am
also not able to open ncpa.cpl to view or change network settings??? Could a
bad .cp ...

Can't boot Win 2000!

I must be missing something easy here, but it is evading me!
I have just transplanted a hard drive with Win 2000 from a dead Dell to an
older
Compaq. The system won't boot, so I started it with a new Win XP CD,
