RIS 2000 and XP SP2 Images

Ok, the guys at Microsoft didn't understand what I was trying to tell them
so let me try it here.
1.) I am trying to setup a deployment of 50 XP professional workstations
using RIS on a Windows 2000 RIS server.
2.) MS suggested (and I agree) that I want to use a volume license media

Sysprep and Acronis Imaging

I want to image a production server using sysprep and Acronis. How does
sysprep affect my "source" server after I run the sysprep utility. The server
shuts down and I make my image. What happens after I reboot the "source" when
the image is done? Will the production server be intact and ready to use
again? ...

RIS txtsetup.sif error

I have just a basic RIS install (win2003 server) with a single XP sp2 image
on it. When I try and load the image to a new machine it finds it
fine....setup inspects computer configuration but then it errors with:
"Line 13 of the INF file \setup\english\...\i386\txtsetup.sif is id.
Setup can not continue" ...

Running Adprep

I have a windows 2000 native domain running. I have 3 sites and each site
has 2 windows 2000 domain controllers. I want to upgrade to windows 2003.
Firstly I will need to run adprep on the DC which holds all the OM roles.
Would it be best to disconnect this DC from the network and then run the

works fine, even the multiple language support (English/Dutch).
However, the default key-board layout is QWERTY. For us, not that big
