I am about to create a single disk image with different hardware the HALs
are as follows:
1. ACPI Uniprocessor PC
2. Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC
3. ACPI Multiprocessor PC
1. Which HAL I should build master image?
2. Do I need to use the UpdateUPHAL parameter in my sysprep.inf? ...

How do i tell which HALS I need to add to my sysprep.inf.
I have checked device manager>Computer and seen that i have a ACPI UP PC
which uses hal.dll.
Do I now need to find teh corresponding inf file? Can I assume that the inf
file is hal.inf?
Do Ireally need to use this field if all of my HALs are AC ...

Upgrade 2000 Forest Root to 2003

no matching CD-based image on server

I have just setup a ris server and created a flat(cd based) image. I
made the cd image from Win2k with sp4 and rollup1v2 slipstreamed into
it, I have also bundled into it the network drivers for an optiplex
170l as w2k didn't pick these up.
I can build clients over the network with this image no problem.

CD image of Win2003 SP1. We like to set the C: drive of our servers at 20Gb

to install a driver for this. However at the ATI website they don't provide
drivers for win 2003, so should I pick the drivers for xp or win2000?
