situation? I can't afford microsofts help centers and they won't tell you

I cannot open files or save them to my other computer on my network
When I try to open files on the other computer, I get a message saying
"write protected"
When I try to save a file to other comp I get message that says "cannot

windows 2000 server critical behaviour

My machine is not reponding properly. if i open an application, freeze for 10
sec and open. even if i open it subsequently freezing is continuing and my
machine is going under critical behavioural manner.
