Can't offer remote assistance to vpn clients

I have problem offering remote assistance to clients that are connected to
our Windows 2000 RAS server. Whenever I try to offer remote assistance, I
got the error "the remote server machine does not exist or is unavailable".
These clients if put on the office network, I have no problem offering

Here is the background for my problem...
So I have a Windows 2000 server that is a RRAS.
Lets say on IP 10.0.0.1
It has a set of 6 IP set to assign to users.
Lets say it is 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.6
When i reboot the server, there is one IP visible on the machine.

Cant access shared folders using dial connection

checked the RRAS and I found PPTP ports are disappeared.
