I am in the process of migrating from winows 2000 to 2003. I am setting up a
testlab to test this upgrade prior to do it live.
I configured 5 domains, with a few member servers. There qre 3 subnets.
I also configured a standaolne windows 2000 server with RRAS and three NIC's

VPN 2 questions

This is briefly my network setup
Main office: 192.168.0.0/24
Hardware firewall (81.12.71.11) which connects via VPN to firewall
(62.24.23.29) at secondary office
Secondary office: 192.168.3.0/24
Main office has RRAS installed and users can connect 81.12.71.12 no problem.
81.12.71.12 is a MIP addr ...

VPN Connected Servers and Routing Tables

We have 4 branch offices which are connected with VPN (PPTP due to NAT
support). The demand-dial interfaces has been created such that they create a
routing table entry when connecting, which allows the servers to communicate

Inbound filter for preventing access to certain ports except from local subnet

Hello,
I am trying to set up an inbound filter to block access to certain
ports except when accessed from the same subnet. For example, I need to
drop all packets received to port 80 except when the src addr is
192.168.25.0 / 255.255.255.0.
Can this be done using the RAS?

Can't Ping workstations across VPN link

VPN Connection

I setup Routing and Remote Access server on Win 2003 server. I opened pptp
and gre on the firewall. I connect fine when I connect from a pc on the LAN
but when I try to connect from off-site it hangs on verifying username and
