Querying Printer Slow

Hi,
When trying to print from any application (File, Print), the print
dialogue box is taking a considerable amount of time to appear.
I only have 2 Windows printers installed which are connected to a W2K3
Print server.
Any ideas as to how I can reduce the time it takes for the dialogue box
to appears?

Printers not installing all the way using printui.dll

I'm having an issue with some of my domain computers and some of my
printers. It seems to be the same printers having the issues on the
troublesome machines.
Upon login, a script is run which adds a bunch of machines using
printui.dll
A sample line:
