Installing software for users

I am installing some software for a digital camera for 1 of the users.
I have installed it with me logged in under my administrator account. Is
this correct firstly? Or, should I change one of the users to an

I am having reouble on internet explorer.
Whenever I try to enter a site I get "The page cannot be displayed" message
but this is not on all pages. The only ones that I have found that will
allow me to are my bank pages.
