External CD-Rom Boot.

My Problem-
I can not seem to find a way to boot my Toshiba Portege 3110CT off an
external CD-Rom drive. I have to boot from an external do to the fact
that this unit has NO built in Floppy or Cd-rom drive. I do on the
other hand have both but external. Does anyone have any idea on a boot
disk I can find on ...

Weird keyboard problem (after spilling tea)

Hi all,
I have the weirdest problem with the keyboard of my laptop since I
spilled tea over it yesterday. I put the laptop on its side overnight
and quite a bit of liquid drained from it. Fortunately, it was tea
without sugar or honey so the computer is still working.

USB jumpdrive removal reboots my pc

I have a few users where I work that have their computer auto reboot
whenever they remove their USB jumpdrive. It doesn't matter if they
properly stop the device or not, the pc still reboots.

PICMG Bus Passive Backplane

Hi!
Configuration:
For our machine control systems we use a 19" Rack with a PICMG Bus
passive backplane (iEi PX-14S2) with ISA and PCI. There is a Intel
S21152BB Chip (PCI-to-PCI Bridge) on this backplane.
I think 3 PCI Connectors are controled directly by the CPU-Card (BusA)

Recent Upgrade to 2000 Dual Display gone

I recently upgraded my laptop from win98 to win2000 and my option to
use dual display is gone. I know exactly where to look in the
properties but the option is no longer there.
Is there some setting I need to change to get it to appear again?
Do I need to download some drivers or something?
I am at a loss ...
