password expiring in 14 days?

When I started up Win2000 sp4 today I got a message saying my password was
going to expire in 14 days, and did I want to change it? I changed it to
the same password and went on. But I'd like to know who has set this time
limit on my Win2000 password, and how I can get rid of the time limit (or

Error Message During Logon

Hello, I have Windows 2000 Proffesional SP4 installed on my old Dell laptop.
I am getting an error message when I first logon that says the following:
"Error Loading c\WINNT\system32\uvbjjagl.dll... The specified module could
not be found".
Can someone guide me as to how to fix this problem, please. Thank ...

Is anyone running Windows 2000 able to view the videos at
NBCOlympics.com? I know they use Silverlight, and Silverlight 2.0 is
supported under Windows 2000 as long as you use IE 6 SP1. I haven't

Growing slowness, can't find solution

Hi,
Have a Win2000 machine, not much ram, 8Gbs of free HD space left.
The computer's slowness has been growing and growing. I run on a regular
basis:
* NAV full scan (once a week)
* Defrag (once a week)
* and lately Ad-Aware and Spybot.
It's gotten so bad that I went an ddeleted all offline conte ...

Hello Bill,
Never looked about validation because i use legal copies but i think not.
With 2000 there is no activation part with MS. During installing the OS you
provide the key, that's all.
