Sun, 8 Jun 2008 08:56:26 +0800
Hi all,
In W2k and Wxp IE, I would like to block all websites and only allow
specific websites using hosts files (not IE tools)
for example, block all websites and allow only www.yahoo.com and
www.google.com.
Please advice.
Thanks you in advance

Windows Time Service

I've got an old standalone pc with a dead RTC battery running Win2K Pro.
I'm migrating off of it, so it's not worth replacing the battery. Since I
have an always-on internet connection, I thought it would be educational to
enable the Windows Time Service and set the time on each boot instead.
My firewall ...

image including the enterprise applications. I run Riprep from the server,
the Riprep wizard finishes in the client computer and the folder structure is

"full-screen" DOS window doesn't fill screen
Fri, 6 Jun 2008 13:00:28 -0700
I have an old DOS program that runs in a cmd.exe window which can be made to
use the full screen with Alt-Enter. This works properly on another win200
machine, but on a Toshiba laptop the full screen mode fills the width but
NOT the height of the screen.
I've made sure that the Properties and the Console Windo ...

I normally have a very stable W2K system.
This AM, I ran a utility that removes all instances of McAfee products, I
didn't ever install McAfee, but the program instantly executed and was
not able to be stopped. It apparently didn't find anything.
But since then, I have a alert utility, and get frequent not ...
