Files mysteriously deleted

Hello,
Win 2000 sp4, Pent 3, 850mhz, 512mb ram. I have 2 drives, system drive C: is
a 40gb and storage drive D: is a 160mb.
Problem starts like this. The other day while recording some audio, I
noticed some sluggish, skipping action. Playing back that material was the
same.

unmounted volume in disk defragmenter

Disk defragmenter is showing an unmounted volume. It is the same size as
the c: volume. I only have a c: partition. Anyone see this before?

I can't delete a file named something like
1604104820@Top,Bottom,HalfBanner.... Why?
I can't delete it because even if I click on "Delete" from the menu "File"

DeviceIoControl returns 0, but so does GetLastError?

Hello all,
Pretty much what the subject says. I'm using DeviceIoControl
with FSCTL_MOVE_FILE, and occasionally DIOC will return zero, but when
I call GetLastError, the return value is also zero. Any ideas? Can I
assume that means the file extents were moved successfully, or is that
a mistaken assumption?

can not print with some printers

At once it was not longer possible to print to our printers. This on a
Windows 2003 Server SP2 (dual Xeon processor - 4 Gb).
Restarting, installing all updates, reinstal TCP-IP Printserver - restarting
print spooler won't solve this problem.
Reinstalling the printers help for the most HP printers, but not for ...
