I have a problem getting rid of OLD file permissions. It's not that I can't
remove them, it's that I need to remove them from about 120GB worth of files.

History view in Opn/Save dialogue excruciatingly slow

Whenever I click on "History" I have to wait about half a minute before any
files are shown.
Also, the most recent files and folders are not shown. THis is when I save a
file in one program, then switch to another to open or link to that file.
This can affect the file itself or the directory containing it ...
