I recently had a windows 2000 server fail with a mirrored dynamic disk
configuration. Both drives appear to be physically intact. I am able to
do a partial boot of the system. However, the boot fails with what MS

Cannot only sync half of the My Document folder

All my users have their My Documents folders redirected to the network.
Some of my users have laptops and want to take select subfolder in the My
Documents folder on the road with them so I showed them how to just right
click and Make Available Offline. None of them did anything else however

Running defrag generates mmc.exe error

When I try to run defrag, I get "mmc.exe has generated errors and will be
closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is
being created."
I tried to rename MMC.EXE and I get the same error. Short of reloading
everything, what else can I try? Thank you.
