Can not change owner to other users or groups

Hi,
On my Windows 2000 Server SP4 file server there is no option to change the
owner to other users or groups, the option box just isn't there, I can only
set the owner as administratot or the user currently logged on.
Also, when a user creates a new folder no owner is assigned at all so it can
not inher ...

chkdsk corrupts data

I 'm having a problem in my win 2000 system. The data on the 250 MB hard disk

I simply need to resize an NTFS partition on a Win2K Server machine but I
don't want to pay $500 for the "server" versions of some of these products.
Are there any freeware/shareware products that will resize partitions? Even
paying something like $50 is not a problem as long as it also works with

Ntfs delete folder permissions

Is it possible using ntfs permissions to stop a folder and its contents
from being deleted from someone who would have change permissions to the
folder/subfolders/files?
If I set it so the folder cant be deleted it works for the folder, I get
the denied msg but it deletes the contents of the folder before ...
