Cannot browse share

I am unable to browse a share on a 2000 server from some machines in the
network. Until I reboot the server then i can browse. But if i turn off any
of the machines in the network. they will not be able to browse share until
the windows 2000 server is rebooted then they can see and browse share ...

I have a file and print server that I am migrating to a new domain and also
renaming. I setup a DNS record and performed the steps in the following
article to get the server's file shares to work under both the current DNS

DFS FAILOVER

HI, I have created DFS Namespace on three of my servers. Due to some
reasons, i have renamed my SERVER NAMES. Now I am not able to delete the old
namespace servers and create new ones. The namespace servers are having
thier old names.

Server issues, hard drive permissions

I'm helping a person who had there server crash (dumb not to have a DR
solution). Their data was on a second drive and is there.
I've rebuilt a server and placed the data drive into it.
I was expecting to take ownership of all folders/file to have complete
control of it. Is this the correct method?

Windows 2000 Server stop error on shutdown

Optimum Cluster Sizes for NTFS Win 2000?

My Windows 2000 Pro laptop HD is divided into a 12G C: drive, and a 88G D; data drive.
Both are NTFS.
Cluster size for C: is 512 bytes, cluster size for D: is 4K bytes.
Is the cluster size for C: too small? What would be a better size?
