multiple fax modems on windows server 2003 fax

I have a Windows Server 2003 box setup as a fax server and have installed
two USR faxmodems. The modem models are indenticle and they show up in
device manager as properly installed and working properly. When I go into
the 2003 fax service manager however it is only showing one of the modems,

FAXCOMLIB send failing

Hello all,
I'm writing a VB6 program for faxing. Crazy thing is that it works
fine when the exe file is clicked on, but crashes on the method send if
I call the exe from a .bat file in DOS. Does this make any sense to
anyone? It's really driving me nuts.

Changing Default Send No Answer Timeout?

Is there any way to change the timeout value for outbound FAXes in Windows
FAX. On my Windows 2003 Server FAX timesout after 24 seconds, and that is
not long enough for a lot of FAXes to answer the call.

My son gave me a Brother MFC 3100C combination printer, fax, and
scanner combo.
He gave me the setup disk and I tried to install the printer.
Whenever I try to run the setup, I get a message that says "Please
install PaperPort first."
PaperPort is apparently some kind of third-party print manager tool.
