Fri, 16 May 2008 09:47:53 -0700 (PDT)
Hi all:

I have a Windows 2000 Server running DNS.
I want to configure it so that it only allow my own IP block to use
it, essentially, sorta like Bind "allow-query" statement. Others can

this to continue. However, the business has an external web server that has a

the zone, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that the internal net ...

Are Updates set to at least 'allow' on the zone?
Please post an unedited ipconfig /all froim the server.
Did you run nediag /v toc check for errors? If you ha ...

Installing AD on existing windows 2003 server?
Thu, 1 May 2008 17:13:28 -0700 (PDT)
Hello.
I have a couple of Windows 2003 web servers in a home lab. One has
production-like (important) stuff on it and I really can't afford to
have it down for more than a few hours. The other is where I develop
and on occasion I've had to switch over to it due to hardware problems
with the prod server. Noth ...
