DHCP Security breach
14 Jun 2006 19:41:22 -0700
Hello,
I have an Active Directory integrated zone cofigured for secure
updates.
I am evaluating risks of permitting our DHCP server (Windows 2003-based
one) to register A and PTR records on behalf of workstations (Windows
XP).
If I understand correctly this option will compromise the whole idea of

Hi All,
We have a web server sitting in the DMZ. The web service queries the LDAP
off the domain controller in the trusted LAN. We created a firewall rule to
allow web server into the domain controller through port 389. We have 2

What is the best method for making a Windows 2003 server the NEW master

zone, do a zone transfer from BIND server, then promoting it to
primary/master. Then make BIND server the ...

Wed, 07 Jun 2006 00:33:18 GMT
To All,
Has anyone been able to successfully delete SRV dns records with this tool.
Were you able to delete all the SRV record types from the DNS server in one
command line or did you need to delete each record type individually?
Do you have an example of the syntax you used to delete the records.
