Hello Ricky,
Again, please post an unedited ipconfig /all from the machines here. The
output shows that you have connection problems and we have to start with
the ip configuration of the machines. Also give some infos about the way
they are connected, switches routers etc.

Active Directory Replication Problem

Hi
I have 2 DC in different network segment/vpn and they just have let
replicate.
ServerA is the master domain controller where is has DNS (primary) service
and Exchange installed. ServerB has DNS service and as secondary that is the
DNS from ServerA.
I can ping the ip address of ServerA at ServerB bu ...

VPN with outside Email

foward lookup zone for this companyB, they are using Postini for there
email and we need to point an internal record to one of those servers
for email to flow to companyb. I try to add an "A" record, but it will

2000 terminal server and dns

i was trying to configure dns server for a win 2000 ser terminal and i
noticed that dns forwarding and root hints are disabled (gray) ....is this
something from the version of windows or just a dns problem probably ?

missing A record on DNS Serve

I got 2 AD integrated DNS servers. however one A record is missing on DNS1
which is showing up in DNS 2. I need all therecords for this particular zone
to be synced and identical between the two servers and its not the same
right now. Any idea? I already have zone transfers configured between the
two server ...

DNS question with shared IP address space

We recently took over a company and we now need to resolve DNS queries
b/t the two. For arguments sake we'll call the companies company1 and
company2, where company1 took over comany2. However, company2 already
has an address space that is the same as in company1 and the only we
can to the "same" address space ...
