SAPI 5.1 Problems on Windows 2003 Server

I have an MFC program that uses the Microsoft Speech SDK (SAPI 5.1).
It runs great. But, after converting the program into a Win32
Service executable, I now have problems initializing SAPI on Windows
2003 Server. The service runs fine under Windows 2000 Server, and
Windows XP Pro.

I am trying to unregister a DLL that so I can install a new version of
it but regsvr32 complains that it can't uninstall it and to use pview
to remove it. This is a DLL created by our programming group. When I
run pview the dll doesn't show up in memory. There are no apps running

Problems linking a program which uses __declspec( thread ) as a DLL

I have a program which uses thread local storage which is allocated
with __declspec( thread ).
If I link it one way everything is fine, the program starts up and
runs properly. If I change the set of .obj's being linked to either
produce a DLL or swap in a different main() function, I get the
