DLL Search order

Hello,
It appears that the dll search order has somehow changed on my system.
When i use either static linking or LoadLibrary, it first searches for
the dll in the \system32 dir instead of the local directory.
Can i modify the search order?

XP Boot Failure

I successfully installed an HP all-in-one but when I rebooted to activate the
settings, I got a blank screen with only flashing cursor. I did Cntl/Alt/Del

I have more questions on Windows' handling of USB mass storage device:
1. If two USB mass storage devices, both do not have serial number in their
device descriptor, are pluged into a computer. How does the Windows tell
which is which? will this cause problem?

Can't unregister DLL with regsvr32

I am trying to unregister a DLL that so I can install a new version of
it but regsvr32 complains that it can't uninstall it and to use pview
to remove it. This is a DLL created by our programming group. When I
run pview the dll doesn't show up in memory. There are no apps running
