adding linksys router to wired network

My situation is I am trying to connect a wireless linksys router to a
switch just for laptops to access. When I first did it I didnt turn
off dhcp but people keep losing network connection. I did some
research and found info that said connect to wireless router thru
ethernet cable and configure it with a .0.1 ...

Can XP PRO join 2K domain w/o installing AD?

I have a SOHO with only one Win2K internet server and one XP PRO
workstation, so it would be ridiculous to use AD.
When I try to join the Win 2k's internet domain, I get "The DNS SRV
record is not registered in DNS", which of course is true. I don't want
AD if I can help it.

I am running win 2k server and need to change to xp pro... No longer need

server environment but have 7 years of information I can't loose. Someone
told me xp pro will not install over win 2k server so what do I do? I want

I sucessfully built a dual boot windows / suse machine
last year, and I am trying to do the same with Suse 10.1.
I can't boot from the windows loader.
I shrunk windows down to 4gig (in a 40 gig drive)
then set it up as:
(windows- 4gig)
/ (8 gig)
swap (2 meg)
/opt (8gig)
/var (8gig) ...

Help. I have reloaded this server 4 times and I am unable to see more than
4gb of the 280gb hard drive. I have checked and double checked the array
settings with the vendor. It is not a hardware issue. It is defianetly a
