Trying to set port for Remote Desktop Connection on Win2K3

I have successfully set my remote desktop connection port to other than 3389
on my XP Pro machines, but when I attempt to set an alternate port on my
Win2K3 Server, I am no longer able to Remote Desktop Connection into the
server. It seems to only like 3389.

i have users configured so that their termserv session will disconnect after
2 hours of being inactive
then will end after 30 min of being disconnected
problem is, the session isn't terminating

Does Windows server 2003 allow more colours than 256 for remote clients
using terminal services?
In Windows 2000 server it doesn't, Microsofts reason being by design. Is
this because its too slow if you bump up the colours?

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could tell me how many sessions Windows XP SP2
can allow via Remote Desktop Connection. If, as I suspect, its only 1, does
anyone know of any software that can be installed to allow more than 1
connection?
We would like to run between 5 - 10 machines for development purpose ...
