Hi All,
I have created a service with a start value = 2 (SERVICE_AUTO_START).
The service calls the Windows function WSAStartup which initates the use of
the Winsock.dll. If I add my service to a group I can control when it gets

Duplicate entries

Hello all:
I have an end user that is runnign Windows 2000 sp4 and has 1 gig of ram.
After she logs in she gets the errror message
" Your maximum registry size is too small. To ensure that Windows runs

I have run RootkitRevealer for www.sysinternals.com. It has
turned up a strange registry entry.
The entry is in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft.
It seems to be a folder. Its "name" comes after "W", and it
looks like two squares ( I guess they are some kind of
non-printable characters ? ...
