I'm running an application on a XP machine. I cannot set a static ip address
'cause other identical machines are present on the same lan and this can

WOULD BLOCK issue

I've took over a C++ code that is connecting to a server via TCP. The
connect() call receives a WOULD BLOCK error. Now it wasn't doing this,
but as we started ramping up the connections to the server it went into this

Only Administrator can ping router

I recently added a new user with Admin privileges on Win2000 Pro, in
addition to the default Administrator. That new user cannot ping the router.
(The username is the normal login id for other computers on the network that
have no problem accessing the network).
I tried adding another user, same result.
