Webserver Alias Issue-

Hi!!
I recently requested our networking team to create a DNS alisas name
for our Dev Server as serverdev.domain.com for the hostname. When I
ping with the alias it shows me the right IP Address. However whenever
I try to access the webserver through the browser I get a WAC-1 error.

We are hosting a external DNS server in our company LAN with already mapped
with a Pubilic IP address on the firewall. ( our company domaind and other
customer's domain are all hosted on this server), no 2nd DNS server.
This is running more than 5 years, and many engineer working on the server ...
