DNS Cache Corruption?

Configuration:
DNS Server - NT 4.0 SP6a with latest security patches.
Email Service - Exchange 5.5 sp4
Occasionally we have noticed that our DNS services seems to stop working.
The symptoms are email stuck in outbound queue and some websites/pages are
